<span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="tab-stops:176.25pt"><span style="direction:rtl"><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><b><span lang="FA" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"B Mitra"">یافته ها:</span></span></span></b> <span lang="FA" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"B Mitra"">محدوده سنی شرکت کنندگان نیز بین 85-60 سال بود. میانگین سنی آن ها 78/5</span></span></span><span lang="FA" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Cambria",serif">±</span></span></span><span lang="FA" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"B Mitra""> 40/66 بود. (1/44% ) 97نفر زن و(9/55%) 123 نفر را مردان تشکیل دادند و بیشتر سالمندان شرکت کننده بازنشسته( 4/65%) 144 نفر بودند. </span></span></span><span lang="FA" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"B Mitra"">بیشترین فراونی مربوط به سالمندآزاری به ترتیب مربوط به بعد روانشناختی 146(3/66 %)، مالی 126 (3/57 %) و غفلت عاطفی 101 (9/45 %) بوده است. بین سالمندآزاری و متغیرهای جنسیت، تحصیلات و وضعیت شغلی در افراد سالمند ارتباط معناداری مشاهده شد.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br>

<span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"> <b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Materials and Methods:</span></span></span></b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> The present study is a cross-sectional study that was conducted with the participation of the elderly is living in Ahvaz.</span></span></span> <span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Sampling was done in two stages. In the first stage, the clusters were randomly selected from the health centers of Ahvaz city and after each cluster, sampling was done. To collect information, demographic characteristics and Domestic mistreatment questionnaire towards the elderly were used. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20 software and chi square test. </span></span></span></span></span></span><br>
<span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Results:</span></span></span></b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> The age range of participants is between 60-85 years. The</span></span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">ir </span></span></span><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">mean age was 66.40. ±5.78. 97 (44.1%) were women and 123(%55.9) were men And most of the participants (65.4%) 144 were retired. The highest frequency of elder abuse was related to psychological dimension 146 (66.3%), financial 126 (57.3%) and emotional neglect 101 (45.9%), respectively. Based on chi-square statistical test, a significant relationship was observed between elder abuse and the variables of gender, education and job status in elderly people.</span></span></span></span></span></span><br>
<span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Discussion and Conclusion:</span></span></span></b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> Although there is a lot of emphasis in our culture to respect the </span></span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">older adults</span></span></span><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">, the older people experience different types of mistreatment.</span></span></span> <span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The results showed that in the Ahvaz city, the older adults </span></span></span> <span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">are </span></span></span><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">faced with the phenomenon of elder abuse in the family.
