Peer Review:

 | Post date: 2018/08/27 |
The scientific papers accepted for publication in the journals are subject to peer review.
This is the electronic process of the “Journal of Geriatric Nursing”. Manuscripts are usually reviewed by a minimum of two selected reviewers according to their specific expertise. The reviewers assess the paper’s validity for publication based on certain criteria. Articles should be original and conclusions should be supported by robust statistics and ethically-sound data. The paper should present a coherent story and fit with the aims and scope of the journal. The journal’s editor-in-chief will make the final decision, based on the reviewers’ comments on publication. Some considerations may be made regarding the article’s potential contribution to the impact factor and whether the paper is likely to be cited or downloaded. If the paper is not accepted for publication, a revision may be requested. It is important to respond to the editor and reviewers’ comments before resubmitting the article.
