Introduction: Due to the rapid increase in the number of elderly people, health issue, Provide health and welfare of their community and wider finds new dimensions every day. The main purpose of this research is to explain the relationship between social support and interpersonal dependency and life expectancy were elderly women.

Materials and Methods: This study is descriptive and correlational. The study population included all nursing home residents and elderly women Living at home Ahvaz formed in 1395.
Of the population of 51 elderly women in nursing homes for sampling Targeted and 11 elderly women living at home with Samples were selected and studied. To collect data from questionnaires  Social protection dependencies between individual (BDI) and  Life expectancy was conducted. After collecting and extracting data,  The participants' scores using Pearson's correlation coefficient And by regression analysis and statistical software (SPSS) were analyzed.

Results: Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis showed The dependence between the life expectancy of a person with a significant direct relationship,  And between the individual components is able to predict the life expectancy of elderly women. But social protection with a life expectancy of older women have a meaningful relationship.

Conclusion: Social support enables the elderly to enable them to meet  With everyday life problems and crises have it and spend it well.
